About Us

American Concrete Products (ACP) was founded in September 1999. Brad Jonckheere, President of ACP, purchased septic tank operations from D & J Gravel Co. of Howell, Michigan which had been in business since 1950.

In March of 2001, ACP acquired D & J Gravel’s aggregate operations at 4950 Mason Road. Products include washed sand, stone, and crushed stone.

In May of 2002, ACP became a distributor of Norweco's Singulair Bio-Kinetic Wastewater Treatment System www.norweco.com.

In August of 2002, ACP returned to the ready-mix concrete market after an eight year absence (D & J discontinued concrete delivery in 1994). ACP began delivering with two ready-mix trucks and then quickly expanded by purchasing four additional trucks in late summer of 2003. By the summer of 2004, demand for concrete helped us make the decision to purchase two more trucks. Our fleet now includes eight Advance (Terex) ready-mix trucks.

In July of 2008, ACP introduced a new lower cost, environmentally friendly product to the marketplace: Recycled Concrete Footing & Wall Mix.

In the winter of 2003, ACP started offering recycled concrete and asphalt products to our customers. We currently accept broken concrete and asphalt that is then recycled by crushing the larger pieces down into several usable products.

Our commitment to our customers is to manufacture quality products

and provide excellent customer service.

We are constantly improving and enhancing our concrete that goes into the septic tanks to ensure that they are durable and watertight. We currently use a 7-sack self-compacting concrete (SCC) mix with a structural fiber-mesh. Every effort is made to deliver our products on time to the customer at the time they request.

ACP stays up to date with the latest on-site technology by being involved in state and national organizations including:
